学工办职责 Duty of Teachers of the Student Affairs Office
A. Mr. Mao: Student system construction, student organizations supervision, management of classes, media, freshmen and alumni education, awards evaluation, emergencies.
B. Ms. Yuan: Management of student information, tuition fee, visa extension, dorm switch, freshmen and graduates procedures, student affairs filing, emergencies.
C. Mr. Jiang: Management of student organizations and student activities, award evaluation, exchange students program, alumni work, emergencies.
教务办职责 Duty of Cici of the Teaching Affairs Office
Cici: Management of Course Schedule, Textbook, Course Selection, Students' Evaluation of Teachers, Course Retaking, Examination, Course Adjustments.
学费 Tuition Fee
You are required to pay your tuition fee before you can be recognized as a qualified student here. The university does not receive cash, so you have to transit your tuition fee through banks, we suggest you to bring cash and transit your money through Chinese banks. We strongly recommend students pay your exact number of tuition fee in China as extra money takes a long time and complicated procedure to be returned to your account. Only students who have paid the tuition fee can be allowed to sit the class and the extend the visa. Here, the Business School's role in your visa extension is just to give you the approval stamp when we have your bank receipt, for detailed procedures please refer to the International College.

How to get a Visa/Stay Permit/Residence Permit Application Form?
Please get the application form from the 2nd floor, Student Affairs Center (Wei Shaoxiang Building, across from No. 1 Canteen), the International College, or you can download and print the form on the English Website, an UA4 paper (print on both sides) also attached.
How can I check out from my dormitory?
1. Get application form from the front desk of your dorm.
2. Ask Ms. Yuan's approval from 401, No. 11 Building and leave your new address with Ms. Yuan.
3. Take the form to Ms. Gao for approval, 2nd floor, Student Affairs Center (across from No. 1 Canteen).
4. Take the form to the front desk of your dorm.

Please don't change your cell phone, otherwise you will miss out important information, such as scholarship, visa, activities and so on. If you want to change your phone number please make sure your latest phone number is registered with Ms. Yuan from 401, No. 11 Building.
请假 Ask for Leave
You are allowed to take sick leave, but please ask before you take the sick leave, you can ask from your course teacher or from the International Students Affairs Office. It is required that you provide the doctor's note, or other proving materials, together with your sick leave application note. You can ask for leave from any teacher of our office.
宗教 Religion
You can keep your religious belief here, but you should also understand that China is not a religion-based country, we respect religions, but holding any religious gathering is not allowed here. We recommend you go to churches or official religious places to pray.
出勤Attendance
According to the Student Handbook, if you are absent for three times or more, you will lose your routine mark, if you are absent for 1/3 of classes, you will lose your right to attend the final exam. If you a late for ten minutes, your attendance will be considered as invalid.
考试和选课Exam rules and Course Selection and Retaking
It needs to be mentioned that we adopt a zero tolerance policy towards cheating. For students who have failed the course, you will be given one chance to makeup exams. But if you failed again in the makeup exams, you will have to retake the course.
