Dear students,
Winter Vacation is coming, our winter vacation lasts fromJanuary 23rd to February 22nd, the school and offices close during that time. The new semester begins fromFebruary 27th(Monday). The first week(February 27 - March 3) of the next semester will be makeup exam week, please arrive before February 27 if you fail some subjects and need to sit the makeup exam.
There are some tips that we would like you to pay attention to have a safe winter vacation here.
1. Transportation
Chinese New Year's day might be the busiest day all year round, which lasts from January 27 - February 2 as most people try to reunite with their family members.Thus,mostshops around the campus or downtown will be closed, please prepare some food for yourself. All train and bus stations will be crowded with people, so the possibility of happening traffic accidents will increase. Please pay attention to the vehicles and obey the traffic rules all the time. Please do not take any vehicles without license plates. Students who are going to trip, please obey the rules from that country, be cautious with thieves.
2.Room Safety
As most of you will spend most of your time indoors, room safety is also very important for you. Please do not use high-voltage household appliances and fire within the accommodation area. To have your room ventilated often and keep clean of your room to avoid bacteria and diseases.
3.Personal Safety
It is not suggested for you to party overnight as bars will be a potential dangerous place when holiday comes. Thieves and burglars could be roaming the streets during the winter vacation. It is better for you to go downtown or shopping with your friends instead of going alone.
4.Personal Belonging Safety
Please keep safe of your personal belongings, such as wallets, keys, motor vehicle, mobile phones etc. Do not deposit a large amount of cash and valuable things in doors.
5.Religious Activity
Any forms of religious gathering is not allowed within campus. It is suggested that you find an official religious place to do your pray.
If you have emergencies, please follow sxynbu to check the person in charge from each department.
