Zhejiang Government and Ningbo Government Scholarship Calls for Application

Dear international students of Business School:

According to the urgent notice of the University, the application for two Scholarships of Zhejiang and Ningbo Government has begun. Please see the following details and do not miss this good chance and deadline.

Remarks: One student only gets to choose one type of scholarship, Zhejiang or Ningbo, to apply. Students, if listed in Bench places, will be recommended also to the International College, but do not maintain a sure place to scholarship, the final winners will be decided by the Zhejiang or Ningbo government.. Students who come from the following countries are not limited to quota and can apply for Ningbo Government Scholarship freely, they are Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, People’s Republic of Hungary, Republic of Slovenia, Republic of Croatia, Romania, Republic of Bulgaria, Republic of Serbia, Republic of Montenegro, Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republic of Albania, Republic of Estonia, Republic of Lithuania and Republic of Latvia.

Qualification：

Undergraduates of Business major, Non-CSC&CIC students or for students who have not received other forms of scholarship at national level within one academic year. In some cases, exchange students who study less than one year will not be considered.

Basic requirements:

a) Respect teachers, love Ningbo University and the Chinese culture, cooperative and active in assignments or activities arranged by Ningbo University. Law-abiding, no violation of University rules and Chinese laws.

b) Students who have paid their 2018-2019 tuition and Insurance fees, has no history of delaying tuition, insurance or visa expiration.

c) Student who have high attendance rate in class, excellent academic performance in top 50% of the same-year major batch.

d) Members of ISU and ICS, Class Committee or University clubs or students who has made contributions to the Business School or Ningbo University will have priorities.

e) Friendly attitude towards teachers and China. Peer review are sound.

f) Students must apply by themselves before deadline, those who does not apply or ignore deadline will lose the opportunity for scholarship even he or she qualifies.

g) Complete the weekly checkup from international office of Business School.

Required material (You can ask classmates to help hand in if you are not in China):

1) Application form (Pls see attached)

2) Transcript and Study Statues Certificate (Both can be printed on the machines in Teaching Affairs Department, 2^nd floor of Huangchen Yueli Building or the Students Affairs Hall across from No. 1 Canteen)

3) Passport copy

4) Valid Health Certificate (From Ningbo International Travel Health Care Center)

5) Chinese Recommendation Letter (Business School will provide if necessary, but the recommendation letter from your teacher is strongly advised)

6) Tuition Fee Transaction Receipt from ICBC, usually a blue one

7) Other certificates of honour or membership, which might help your application

Notes: Each applicant should hand in two hard copies of all materials, missing of any single material will lead to failure of application. The application, once handed in, we not be returned.

Evaluation method:

The evaluation of Scholarship applicants will be carried out by the scholarship evaluation board of the Business School.

How to apply and deadline:

Students download the application form and collect other required documents. Hand in paper materials to 401 (Student Affairs Office), No. 11 Building, Business School between 15:00 and 16:00, 4th September 2018. For those who fail to meet the basic requirements or hand in application materials in time, the Business School will not recommend the applicants as potential winners of scholarship.
