A. Proposal Defense Time: From December 9 to 12.
B. Required Materials
a. ‘The Evaluation Form of Postgraduate Proposal’ must be signed by the tutor, otherwise it is not allowed to participate in proposal defense.
b. ‘The Postgraduate Proposal Form’ should include references. (Check attachments)
c. Please send these two materials to Miss Pauline before December 7. (Email address: shenbaoping@nbu.edu.cn)
C. Specific Requirements for the Proposal Defense
a. Under the guidance of the supervisor, graduate students are asked to carefully write a detailed opening report, which includes the background, significance and basis of the topic selection of the dissertation; the latest results and trends of related research; the main content of the subject research and the proposed technical route and implementation plan , The key technologies and difficulties to be solved, the expected goals; the detailed work schedule of the dissertation; the main references, etc.
b. The proposal defense is prepared by the attendants in the form of PPT, and present it in Dingding Group by live streaming. The defense time is controlled within 10 minutes, and Q&A is 5-10 minutes.
c. After passing proposal assessment, in principle, you cannot change the topic later. If you really need to change the topic for special reasons, you must fill in the thesis topic change form, approved and signed by the supervisor, and reported to the Graduate School for record after the supervisor’s approval, and the topic must be reopened.
d. Those students who fail will be postponed, and the proposal assessment will be reopened in half of a year.
D. Matters needing attention after Proposal
Within one week after the proposal, the students should send the revised evaluation form and the electronic version of the proposal report to Miss Pauline, The file name is: "Student ID+ Name + Evaluation Form", " Student ID + Name + Proposal report"
