Notice on Thesis Plagiarism Check
Dear all,
According to the new national regulation, in order to improve the quality of graduation thesis, the graduation thesis needs to be checked for national external review. Hence, starting from grade 2019, all the international students should conduct the graduation thesis plagiarism check.
1. The repetition rate for each student’s graduation thesis should not exceed 25%.
2. Before the thesis defense, Students whose repetition rate exceeds 25% will not be allowed to attend the defense. Each student has 3 chances for defenses. Students who fails all three can not graduate.
3. The recommended plagiarism checking website: http://www.chaessay.com/turnitin.html (you can also use the other websites in your country)
4. Pls submit your final thesis and the repetition rate report to your thesis tutor before your defense.
5. Students who don’t do plagiarism checking, or don’t submit the repetition rate report to your tutor, will not be allowed to attend the thesis defense.
6. After the first defense，Business School will conduct a spot check of thesis that meet the criteria for internal review of 20% from the total number of graduates in 2023. Students who can not pass the spot check should revise their thesis and be ready to attend the second defense.
