Notice for Students Meeting Academic Warning in 2022-2023-1 Semester
Dear students,
I am here to inform the students who received academic warnings in the last semester:
If you received the notice from your supervisor, please read carefully, sign your name and send back to your supervisor. If you received academic warning and selected too many courses in this semester, you can apply for withdrawal to Yuki before April 14th, 2023 in order to avoid another academic warning.
If you have any objection, please file your written appeal and explanation to the Academic Affairs Department of Ningbo University before April 15th, 2023.
Note:
According to Item 1 of Article 43 in “Regulations on student status management for international undergraduates of Ningbo University” starting from 2017 grade, if you have received academic warnings twice without significant performance for the school, you will not be awarded a bachelor's degree. It is possible to apply for a supplementary degree with significant performance for school mentioned below, but whether the degree can be obtained in the end must be reviewed and decided by the school degree committee.
Significant performance of honoring the school’s name which refers to: being admitted as a master's degree by a domestic"double first-class" university or overseas QS, THE and other top 100 universities during the graduation semester, or at or above the provincial level subject competition, "Chinese Bridge", "Dream Trip in Zhejiang" and other skills and cultural competitions to obtain the second prize or more, or any other major performance for the school honor recognized by the school degree assessment committee.
According to Item 1 of Article 33 in “Regulations on student status management for international undergraduates of Ningbo University” , if you are to be warned three times for meeting academic warning, you’ll meet the final penalty condition of being dismissed from Ningbo University.
