On April 3, the International Student Union of our college successfully held a New Semester Study Experience Sharing Session in Room 216, Cao Guangbiao Building, Business School. The event was attended by members of the Presidium, department heads, and all student staff of the International Student Union. The session focused on the new semester's development planning, learning strategies, and skill enhancement, aiming to help international students better adapt to the pace of the new semester, improve their Chinese proficiency and professional competence, and foster a positive, mutually supportive learning atmosphere.
During the session, two outstanding international student representatives shared valuable experiences. Tamina Azizi from Morocco focused on Chinese language learning and the HSK exam, presenting practical methods from zero foundation to passing advanced-level tests. She shared tips on vocabulary accumulation, listening training, and reading and writing skills, encouraging everyone to speak more, practice frequently, and integrate the language into daily life. Wu Weilun from Malaysia focused on academic studies, sharing techniques for organizing class notes, efficient revision, time management, and balancing multiple courses. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a serious attitude towards learning and actively engaging in academic exchanges. After the presentations, students actively asked questions and engaged in discussions, creating a lively atmosphere.
The Study Experience Sharing Session clarified the direction of study for the new semester, provided international students with effective and practical strategies for learning and exam preparation, and further strengthened the cohesion of the International Student Union. Attendees expressed that they would take this session as an opportunity to help each other, learn together, and achieve better results in the new semester, jointly writing a new chapter in the development of the International Student Union. The International Student Union will continue to build platforms for exchange and learning, assisting international students in achieving academic breakthroughs and promoting mutual learning and appreciation among diverse cultures
