Scholarship丨Zhejiang Government Scholarship Calls for Application

Dear international students of Business School:

According to the urgent notice of the University, the application for Scholarship of Zhejiang Government has begun. Please check the following details and do not miss this good chance and deadline.

Qualification：

Second year and above degree students, who have not won the 2020 CSC Scholarship, none-degree students are not eligible.

Basic requirements:

a) Respect teachers, love Ningbo University and the Chinese culture, cooperative and active in assignments or activities arranged by Ningbo University. Law-abiding, no violation of University rules and Chinese laws.

b) Students who have paid their 2020-2021 tuition, insurance fees and dorm fees(only for students in China), has no history of delaying tuition, insurance or visa expiration. 

c) Student who have high attendance rate in class, excellent academic performance in top 50% of the same-year major batch.

d) Members of ISU and ICS, Class Committee or University clubs or students who has made contributions to the Business School or Ningbo University will have priorities.

e) Students in China whose visa have been expired or students having been punished cannot participate in the scholarship application.

f) Students who have illegal driving records of motor vehicles or non-motor vehicles or students who have major responsibility for traffic accidents since Jan. 1^st 2020 cannot participate in the scholarship application.

g) Students who are late for the dormitory (0:00-5:00 in the morning) or staying out all night more than 2 times per week (excluding holidays) since September 1^st 2019 cannot participate in the scholarship application.

h) Students who are organized or participate in any form of illegal religious gatherings or illegal religious activities cannot participate in the scholarship application.

i) Students must apply by themselves before deadline, those who does not apply or ignore deadline will lose the opportunity for scholarship even he or she qualifies.

Required materials for students in China:

1) Application form (Please check Attachment 1)

2) Transcript and Study Statues Certificate (Both can be printed on the machines in Teaching Affairs Department, Room 212, 2^nd floor of Huangchen Yueli Building or the Students Affairs Center across from No. 1 Canteen)

3) Passport copy and visa copy

4) Valid Health Certificate (From Ningbo International Travel Health Care Center)

5) Chinese Recommendation Letter (The recommendation letter from your teachers is strongly advised)

6) Tuition Fee Transaction Receipt from ICBC+ICBC bank statement (the same as Attachment 2 and Attachment 3)

7) Other certificates of honour or membership, which might help your application

Notes: Materials 1 to 6 should be hand in together and lack of any one will not be accepted. The application, once handed in, it will not be returned.

Students who are in China please download the application form and collect other required documents. Hand in paper materials to your counselor, No. 11 Building, Business School 8:30- 16:00, 16^th Oct. 2020. Students in Business Administration (4 years) please refer to Mr. Mao, Room 401. Students in Business Administration 2+2 and postgraduates please refer to Ms Wang , Room 403. Students in Accounting, Finance, Marketing and International Business please refer to Ms Chen, Room 405.

Required materials for students not in China:

1) Application form (Please check Attachment 1)

2) Photo of Passport

3) Valid Health Certificate from hospitals in your country with official signature and stamp(Please check Attachment 4)

4) Chinese Recommendation Letter (The recommendation letter with your teacher’s signature is strongly advised)

5) Tuition Fee Transaction Receipt to CCB from your Bank

6) Other certificates of honour or membership, which might help your application

Notes: Materials 1 to 5 bshould be hand in together and lack of any one will not be accepted. The application, once handed in, it will not be returned.

Students who are not in China please download the application form and collect other required documents. Please send an email to Business_School@126.com named by your student ID and attached with essential materials before Oct. 18th, 24:00 Beijing time.

For example,

Those emails whose form is different from example will not be accepted.

Evaluation method:

The evaluation of Scholarship applicants will be carried out by the scholarship evaluation board of the Business School.

Attention:

For those who fail to meet the basic requirements or hand in application materials in time, the Business School will not recommend the applicants as potential winners of scholarship.
