I-Volunteer is the first volunteer team that’s been made up of International students of NBU. “I-Volunteer“ stands for International Volunteer and also brings the literal meaning of I am volunteer. The treasured members of I-Volunteer come from many different countries. Malaysia, Uganda, Congo, India, Somalia, Bangladesh and also Equatorial Genie.
The organizational structure is pretty much simple, we have a president, Mr. Azri and a vice president, Miss Noriko, leading the team. We have Shadman for the organization work and Alexander for the publicity work as well. And the rest is a pretty much horizontally structured. This particular structure enables us to interact with each other effectively and efficiently without any sort of barriers such as status and title. We treat each other with respect and dignity, as we trust ourselves committing our best along side each other.
The hand in the logo represents ”willingness”, the plant in the logo represents the ”environment”. However willing, we presently are; we will do our best to preserve Mother Nature maintaining balance of both human and environmental nature in whatever we do. The spiral orb represents the “Incorporation” of both elements as explained earlier. Our slogan is pretty much conventional and more internationally themed “We make a world of difference!”.
